These hens are the perfect addition to your backyard flock. They are large but very friendly and docile due to their mixed heritage. These are a little more independent than pure breed brahmas but no less friendly.
 
Due to being hybrids, these hens will generally grow quicker than their pure breed parents and will lay more eggs per year than traditional pure breed brahmas laying around 100-200 large tan coloured eggs per year.
 
These girls have unique ‘frizzle’ feathers which makes them a good talking point! These hens also have fluffy feet which means they can be less damaging to grassy areas.
 
Available in a few different shades of Black to Smokey-grey. Colours will vary according to availability - the pictures are an indicator of what we have, not specifically what is still available.
 
All our hens are with unrelated cockerels as we believe the genetics should be as far apart as possible.
